Disguised as a police officer, Cameron breaks into a power station and destroys the turbine, cutting off electricity for all of Los Angeles. She then goes to the evidence storage at the Central LA Police Department and finds a specific evidence box. Agent Ellison’s is the last name on the list. Cameron looks through the box and finds absolutely nothing.
Derek is recovering from his gunshot wound. Cameron comes home and tells Sarah the FBI has the missing T-888 hand. Sarah tells Cameron to find Dmitri Shipkov, Andy’s chess partner, then breaks into Ellison’s house, looking for the hand. She sees that Ellison has been looking at her Pescadero videos in which she signs papers waiving all parental rights to John. She takes the tape, and John later finds it and watches it.
Derek grows suspicious of Cameron. Cameron earns the trust of Dmitri’s sister, a ballet teacher called Maria, who eventually takes Cameron to see him. He says a man offered him cash for The Turk. Cameron takes a piece of paper from Dmitri and leaves.
Ellison goes to find Dr Silberman from Pescadero to discover more about Sarah’s time there. When he finds him, Silberman slips something into his tea and drugs him. Silberman believes Ellison is from the future and stabs him in the leg. He searches Ellison’s car and finds the T-888 hand. Sarah arrives and takes the hand. Ellison escapes and Silberman is locked up in Pescadero.
Returning home, Cameron gives Sarah the piece of paper from Dmitri and Sarah destroys the hand. Derek watches Cameron practising ballet, and notes that she moves with the grace a machine should not possess.
