SEASON 4

EPISODE 11:
CABIN FEVER
Air Date: 08/05/2008
Writers: Elizabeth Sarnoff, Kyle Pennington
Director: Paul Edwards

"I get it, now you got your magic map, you don’t need me any more" Hurley confronts Locke over his manipulative ways.

Locke, Ben and Hurley are in search of the cabin so that Jacob can tell them how to stop the freighter people. When Hurley turns out to be of no use in finding the cabin, Locke despairs – until he has a prophetic dream of where they have to go.

In a flashback, Richard Alpert visits the foster family of five-year-old John Locke. Alpert explains that he runs a school for kids who are extremely special, and they believe John might be one of them. Alpert removes some items from his bag and places them in front of John. He asks John what items already belong to him. John picks a knife, and Alpert is disappointed. John's foster mother returns, and Alpert tells her John isn't quite ready for their school.

On the freighter, Captain Gault gives Sayid a raft so he can ferry the survivors from the beach to the freighter. Meanwhile Lapidus refuses to take the mercenaries back to the island, so Keamy kills the doctor and throws his body overboard. He then kills the captain, at which point Lapidus backs down and agrees to take them.

At the beach camp, the survivors hear the helicopter fly overhead. At first they're excited, but it doesn't stop and continues inland. As it passes, Lapidus throws his bag out with a sat-phone hidden inside. In the jungle, Hurley, Ben and Locke find the cabin. Locke goes in alone and finds Claire and Christian Shephard inside. They talk, and when Locke comes back out, he tells Ben "he wants us to move the island".
