"Don’t look at her, don’t talk to her, don’t mess with her, you got a restraining order, 20 feet!" Sawyer lays down the law for Miles

In a flash forward, Jack and Kate are living together with Aaron. On the island, however, Jack is ill and has to have his appendix removed.

As Sawyer, Claire and Miles trek through the jungle, Miles suddenly asks who Danielle and Karl are, because he's standing on top of them. Miles drops down and starts digging, uncovering their bodies. Sawyer asks if Miles' buddies killed them, but Miles says he didn't sign up for this.

In the flash-forward, a doctor at Hurley's institution calls Jack and asks for his help. Hurley has stopped taking his medication. Jack talks to Hurley, who believes that they never got off the island. He also says that Charlie told him to pass on a message to Jack: "You're not supposed to raise him."

When Jin realises that Charlotte can speak Korean, he warns her that if she continues to lie, he will break Faraday's fingers one by one. He tells her that when the helicopter returns, she has to make sure Sun is one of the first to be taken off the island.

In the flash-forward, Jack has a vision of his father. At home, he overhears Kate talking on the phone. At first she claims the call was nothing, but she finally admits she was doing something for Sawyer. Jack is hurt and they argue, and Kate tells him she doesn't want him around her son. Angry, Jack walks out.

It's the middle of the night on the island. Claire wakes up and sees someone holding Aaron – Christian Shephard, her father and Jack's. She follows him into the jungle.
