This one is about Brit musician Charlie, again using extensive use of flashback to tell his story. The ‘greatest hits’ are his best memories of life before the crash, which he notes down as the programme progresses after being told that his band DriveShaft had enjoyed success after his ‘fatal’ crash. He remembers his life in Manchester, busking Wonderwall by Oasis. The episode begins with Jack devising a plan to thwart the pending attack by the Others using dynamite. They realise it is vital they destroy a message-disabling station based underwater for the plan to work. Desmond tells Charlie of his premonition that Charlie deactivates the station, saving Claire and Aaron, but that he drowns. Charlie tells Jack he can hold his breath for four minutes to convince him to agree to the mission. After saying his farewells he swims underwater and as he is about to drown he finds an opening and gets inside the station. Just as he is enjoying his survival he is approached by two women with guns.
