A huge twist in the tale of this one, as the
love triangle spells doom for Simone. The
episode starts with Peter training and
continuing to increase his powers. He
discovers he has telekinesis when Claude
attempts to hit him with a staff, a skill he
believes he absorbed from Sylar in Texas.
These powers become all-too-vital when
he’s attacked by Bennett and the Haitian
who have been tipped off by Isaac about
Peter’s contact with Claude. Peter and
Claude narrowly escape as Peter’s powers
of fl ight improve. Meanwhile, Mohinder
Suresh is still unaware that the man who he
thinks is Zane Taylor is actually Sylar and
travels with him to Montana. They visit Dale
Smither, a woman who has superhuman
hearing, who agrees to being tested by
them. But, during the night, Sylar murders
Smither to take her powers and Mohinder
fi nds her body when he returns with “Zane”,
who persuades him to fl ee the scene.

Elsewhere, Ted Sprague is contacted
by an Israeli woman, Hana Gitelman, who
tells him that marks on their necks were
caused by a radioisotope, put there so that
the Primatech Paper Co can track them.
They meet up with Matt Parkman, who
they persuade to join them in confronting
Bennet. The episode concludes with
Bennet being stopped at gunpoint by Matt,
Ted and Hana as he returns home with his
family. Then the real shock. Isaac is painting
a picture of Peter when he discovers Peter
is in his loft. They argue about why Isaac
helped Bennet fi nd him and Peter uses
telekinesis to throw Isaac through several
canvasses before making himself invisible.
Isaac is so terrifi ed that he shoots at the
next noise he hears – but the noise isn’t
Peter, it’s Simone coming through his door.
She dies in Peter’s arms as Isaac watches.
