Jaime’s on spy duty, but rather than keeping an eye on the target she’s busy asking Tom over to dinner to meet Becca. Realising she’s made a mistake, Jaime has to use her bionic legs to chase the target’s car, force it off the road and swipe his briefcase.
The briefcase contains ammo for a US-designed weapon that was recently stolen and is about to be used to assassinate an African president visiting the US. Jaime’s dinner with Tom is interrupted by Antonio, who informs her that the President has arrived ahead of schedule.
At the airport, Jaime protects the President from a sniper, and Antonio conceals some vital evidence. Jaime overhears Antonio making a phone call to the assassin, a woman called Julia, but despite Jaime’s suspicions it transpires that Antonio shares a history with the sniper and simply wants to stop the assassination without anyone getting hurt.
Jaime and Antonio rush to save the President and Julia takes a shot at the bionic woman. Antonio draws his gun and returns fire, but not before taking a bullet to the stomach. Julia is killed outright, and Jaime holds Antonio’s hand until the paramedics arrive. She asks if Julia broke Antonio's heart, and he affirms that he had to get out of the relationship because it was too intense, but realises it was a mistake. He tells Jaime not to let the same thing happen to her; he starts to fade away and his heartbeat flatlines. The paramedics try to revive him but to no avail.
Saddened, Jaime goes to see Tom, who finally proves that he can be a good boyfriend and holds her as she cries.
