A soldier wakes up in a military first aid station and attacks his comrades dispassionately, in the opening scene of this episode. Quickly, the narrative cuts to Jaime, who is sitting with her sister and friends drinking margaritas when Berkut calls on her phone and informs her that they have a situation. The scenario witnessed in the beginning has happened several times and all of the soldiers in question were recently freed Al Qaeda prisoners, implanted with a neural chip that is supposed to control aggression. The person responsible for developing the chips is Professor Howard at Stanwick University. Jaime is assigned to go undercover as a British transfer student in Neurobiology in order to investigate in a more hands on capacity.

After a disastrous first class she meets Howard’s aide, a man named Tom, who flirts heavily with her and later bails her out when she is discovered snooping around the labs. When she agrees to meet him for dinner, she is attacked by a man implanted with one of Howard’s chips that helps with his Parkinson’s disease, and it is revealed that he cannot control his actions. Tom is put under surveillance by Berkut. As Antonio investigates a man rapidly becoming radicalised by his family’s death in Al Anbar, Jaime and Tom confront each other, finding out that the latter is a CIA agent who suspected Jaime of being the source of the chips. They quickly discover the real culprit, a student in Howard’s class, and fight with the men intending to pick up the devices. The episode ends with Jaime going to Tom’s house, sharing a kiss with him as they discuss why the CIA hates Berkut so much.
