SEASON 4
EPISODE 1:
HE THAT BELIEVETH IN ME
US Air Date: 04/04/2008
Writers: Bradley Thompson, David Weddle
Director: Michael Rymer

Having just informed an astonished Lee Adama that she has found the way to Earth, Kara joins the fight against the attacking Cylon fleet. The Cylons are winning – until Sam Anders comes face-to-face with a Cylon Raider, which scans him, turns and flees. Moments later, the entire fleet jumps away, abandoning the battlefield.

Aboard Galactica, Kara insists that although she has been gone for two months, to her it seems like only a few hours. Her Viper is inexplicably undamaged and its navigation records are empty. Fearing a Cylon trick, President Roslin puts Kara under armed guard and orders the fleet to continue on the route they had already planned out.

Meanwhile, Gaius finds himself swept into the seductive arms of a cult of young women who dote on him as a holy man. Their leader, Jeanne, asks Baltar to pray over her dying son, Derrick. Overcome by the boy's plight, Baltar offers a heartfelt prayer and pleads with God to spare the innocent child and take his life instead. Later, Baltar is attacked by men who are furious about his acquittal. As one of them holds a knife to his throat, Baltar proves the sincerity of his prayer by begging the man to kill him. Baltar is rescued and narrowly escapes the fray. When he returns to the cult, he finds the boy has miraculously recovered.

Starbuck becomes more certain that Roslin is leading the fleet in the wrong direction and, frustrated that no one will heed her warning, she takes matters into her own hands. She attacks her guards, steals a gun and goes after Roslin.
