As Baltar’s trial begins with Adama sitting on the judge’s tribunal and Lee assisting Baltar’s defence team it emerges that a Cylon force is pursuing
the human fl eet. Tigh interrogates the prisoner Caprica Six about the Cylons but is rattled when she starts to question him about his dead wife. He is so upset he turns up drunk to give testimony at the trial and under crossexamination admits that he killed his wife. However, Laura Roslin’s evidence is so damning that the prosecution must find a way to discredit her. After agonising over betraying a friend, Lee cross-examines Roslin and forces her to reveal that her tea is laced with a hallucinogen. She says she’s taking the drug because her cancer has returned, but it puts her evidence in doubt. The episode ends with Tigh, who has been hearing strange music, looking on the verge of madness as he cups his ear and says it is coming from the ship itself. With only one episode in the season to go we still do not know who are the remaining five Cylons.
