Sadly, I’m currently writing in a shared room in a backpackers – but it’s only for a few weeks till I find a flat in Sydney.

I also use a laptop not connected to internet – personally I’m glad to not have the distraction.

I’ll have to track down a copy of Dog of the North.

We keep all our fiction in alphabetical order, too, which results in some strange neighbors. In our case, Tolkein and Tolstoy are kept apart by Michael Tolkin (author of “The Player” and “Among the Dead”). When I’m bored, I like to imagine the three of them trying to have a chat…
