Starring Elizabeth Olsen and directed by Open Water duo Chris Kentis and Laura Lau, Silent House – a US remake of cult Paraguayan chiller La Casa Muda – is a claustrophobic tale of a woman besieged in her rural holiday home by sinister forces that assault her father and her uncle, but remain forever out of sight, grasping at her heels as she stumbles through the dark.
