DreamWorks is developing The Defenders, a movie based on a concept from Heroes star Masi Oka. Producing the film will by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orc, while Eagle Eye helmer DJ Caruso is reportedly on board to direct. Over the duration of our interview we learnt a great deal about Anderson’s skills with supermarionation (Fireball XL5, Thunderbirds), and also the talent he exhibited creating live-action features such as UFO and Space: 1999.

As Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen gears up for release, Paramount has unleashed this final international promo poster on us. Although not much is given away in this latest one-sheet, a clearly battered Optimus Prime trails behind a fleeing Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf. Bumblebee is also visible with his mask down, very much in full on fighting mode, while those mysterious pyramids crop up again, this time in the background.
