Final Destination 4 (or, The Final Destination to put it correctly) has been given the trailer treatment online, and judging by this footage it is shaping up to be yet another manic instalment in the horror franchise.
Following a plot pattern fans of the series have grown accustomed to, the film follows a group of teens all of whom narrowly escape death at a NASCAR event. Naturally this brush with the Grim Reaper then leads to said teens being killed in all manner of inventive ways. Although this trailer shows it’s very much business as usual for the horror franchise, the employment of 3D marries well with the franchise and its adherence to utter carnage. Judge for yourselves on the trailer below and shed your thoughts. Crafty carnage? Or just franchise fatigue in a new dimension?
The Final Destination will be released on 28 August and you can expect a review of the film in a future issue of SciFiNow.
