According to Deadline, newcomer Daisy Ridley – one of the last additions to the cast of JJ Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode VII – will be returning for Star Wars: Episode VIII and Star Wars: Episode IX.
Parts 2 and 3 in the trilogy are set to be written and directed by Looper‘s Rian Johnson, but other than that nothing is known of their story, or indeed Daisy Ridley’s character.
Oh, maybe we do know that she survives Episode VII. Unless she’s a hologram or Force ghost, that is…
