Sony’s subsidiary company Screen Gems is developing a sequel to Quarantine, according to Bloody Disgusting. The original was a direct remake of Spanish shocker [REC] and managed to rack up $30 million dollars Stateside.

In conjunction with this upcoming sequel, Filmax has already completed work on [REC] 2, which has been slated for European release in October.
