The new trailer for John Carter is action-heavy compared to the more atmospheric glimpses of the film we’ve seen previously. It’s a decent introduction to the lavish look of Mars we’ll see in the movie, as well as the impressive battle sequences – but the actual substance of the story remains elusive.
