Fantasy drama HBO has done consistently well in the United States, boding well for future seasons of the show. The seventh episode garnered 2.396 million viewers, in line with its season average, which has remained really consistent for a genre show. Whereas on the main networks sci-fi/fantasy shows tend to tail off pretty quickly, Game Of Thrones appears to have locked in a loyal audience. Just rewards for a show that has so far been excellent.
