The Walking Dead fans have long been speculating whether Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) will find romance in the apocalypse. It seemed likely that he would shack up with Carol (Melissa McBride) after the pair bonded when her daughter Sophia went missing in Season 2.
But with Season 4 taking Carol out of the picture (at least for now), rumours are that Beth Greene (Emily Kinney) might steal the redneck’s heart.
The mid-season finale saw them leave the prison together, and an intimate selfie posted on Norman Reedus’ Twitter feed reveals the pair looking very cosy…
Either way, Reedus thinks Daryl will be excellent boyfriend material. Speaking exclusively to SciFiNow, he says: “I think he would be a loyal boyfriend, I think he’d be a good protector, he would probably be real honest and try his hardest.
“I’m trying not to play him like someone who’s had a lot of experience and the type of guy that screws girls over, because I think he would be very sincere and a loyal, good boyfriend.”
Expect to see a lot more of the loveable badass when Season 4 of The Walking Dead returns this Monday.
