Daredevil Season 2 brings back fan-fave character

No surprises here that this guy will be back for Daredevil Season 2 on Netflix

With Jessica Jones out in November and more details on Luke Cage being released, interest in Marvel is at an all-time high. Now, in the wake of the various new casting announcements for Daredevil Season 2, there has been confirmation that a familiar face from the first season is coming back. Scott Glenn, who plays Matt Murdock’s blind, irritable mentor Stick, has been confirmed to return by the following tweet:

Those who watched the first season will remember Stick being a bit of a dick, to put it bluntly. Having trained a young Matt Murcock as a youngster, he walked out on him after receiving a paper friendship bracelet (hence the above pic), and did so again after tricking Matt into helping him murder a child (or a “weapon”, as he referred to him). When we last see him, he’s conversing with a heavily scarred man, commenting on Matt’s current activities. Where this leads to, who knows?

Glenn joins returning cast members Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Rosario Dawson, Vincent D’Onofrio and Elden Henson, as well as new faces Jon Bernthal, Elodie Yung and Stephen Rider.
