Chuck fans have had to cope with the show’s constant threat of cancellation from the very beginning, even forming campaigns involving Subway sandwiches (the principal sponsor). The ratings have been in decline in the US, but Yvonne Strahovski (Sarah Walker) told E! Online: “I think [the chances] are pretty good, I will be surprised if we don’t get a season five.”
The latest episode pulled in 5.3 million viewers, which is usually cause for cancellation in the States. Co-star Adam Baldwin (John Casey) isn’t getting his hopes up: “I feel cautiously optimistic. Until you hear the go sign, I just remain cautiously optimistic.”
